Resigned from work at essential brew last wednesday.

All in all, I spent one year (just nice!) there. Can't believe it, time flies.

So as for now, I'm about to start the next chapter of life, NS!

-----

I'm currently in love with this car, especially in this colour.

Photobucket

COBALT BLUE MINI COOPER S ~!

CUTE TO THE MAX.

PLEASE SAY IT'S SO FUCKING CUTEEE CAN?

Heard it costs just as much as a BMW. Shall earn hard to buy one in future. So expensive for such a small puny car...

Anyway, I'll end off here. Going to head out for XIAO LONG BAOZ BUFFET and ktv with my colleagues later on.

&&& I must must must must must remember to bring my ic out. Gonna get another new debit card from DBS.

WOOTZ! Shopping done!

My proud purchases!!!

The said bottega inspired skinny woven belt - $16.90. CHEAP!! Got it at a clearance sales.

Photobucket

&&&

Slim fit blazer - $115.90 (quite expensive but worth the money since it's a classic piece in a guy's wardrobe)

Photobucket

I like the cut of this one. It's even skinnier than the topman skinny blazer! So it fits me really well.

-----

Also, bought my brother a Zara leather messenger bag, costed me $90.

Hi I'm back for a short update!

2012 was good with all the cool digital effects; the meteorites, tsunamis and earthquakes. So real it almost makes one believe that such a terrible phenomenon might actually occur in about 2 years time. Should go catch it while it's still showing at the cinemas. It's definitely better than that twilight lame shit.

& I gotta do shopping soon! Gonna get those bottega-inspired woven leather belt & some plain v-necks.

I'm also waiting for a seller's reply who is selling this brand new blue fred perry flight bag for $75. Of course if I can manage to negotiate and bring down the price to about $60, that would be great!

Photobucket

Looks can be deceiving. It can actually fit A4! Great for school purposes/weekend getaway!

OMG I'm in love with purchasing secondhand stuff and the money I save from doing so. I can be garang guni liaoz...

-----

I just got my new army glasses. Holy shit costed only $80 and fully sponsored by dad. When it comes to army, my father is always readily available and willing to fork out any amount of money. & to consider the fact that he wasn't even as enthusiastic when I asked for money to pay for my lecture notes. :(

Then again, my pair of emporio armani which I bought from paris miki earlier this year costed almost 6x more. LOL I just compared! The lenses are only half as thick but the degrees are a tad higher. Now you get what they mean by, 一分钱一分获.

My favourite day will always be pay day, because it's the day my bank account gets refilled with money again.

& since I had no plan after collecting my pay (which was calculated wrongly by the way, $60 short!), I spent the whole of yesterday playing scrabble with my colleagues at Essential Brew.

Okie, gotta meet up with Sun & Lea to catch a movie now. BYE.

My new pre-owned Bally Baltic Canvas Holdall, from winter '08 Bally's collection.

Quite a steal if you ask me, $520 for a nearing $1K (retail price) bag, & it's only been used once or twice. Too good to be true?

Well, up to you & me to believe, but it does look spanking new to me.

Preppy, light-weight and understated, I really like the design of this bag!

I've already came up with many looks that will form a complement to this bag.

The seller actually advised me to go with bright coloured tops and white shorts and loafers.

I would have agreed with him if not for the fact that colourful stuff doesn't go well with me (god knows why?), one of my many humble suggestions would be to match it with...
Photobucket
Grey V-neck tee

Photobucket

Black striped skinnies

Leather wrap strap watch (dark brown/black strap would do better)
Photobucket
Gladiator sandals for men (preferably same colour as the leather strap of the watch)

It's actually a more laidback & subtle style.

My latest addiction!

Photobucket

Features so many brands inside! LV, Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Bottega, Mulberry, Bally, Armani, Paul Smith, Agnes b & so on!

ALL ABOUT MEN'S WEAR & ACCESSORIES.

Now I'm in loveee with Bottega Veneta's woven bags. SHITZ.

& should I mention that all those male models in the magazine makes me feel like I'm in terrible need of lip fillers & perhaps, like ten rounds of plastic surgeries?!

GOD DAMN IT. WHY I'M UBER JEALOUS NOW.

---

Oh yea, stay tuned! Something interesting coming up.

I haven't been blogging about my latest ongoings in life because my life is currently so preoccupied with bags, baGS & BAGS! SORRY.

You know, I use to hate gucci a lot when I was younger, but that was only because I often see aunties, or occasionally ah kwas trotting down orchard road carrying them, and the ones they carry are always in light brown leather, with red and green handles or straps & I would be like, "Whalao so ugly, like christmas goodie bags like that." Who came up with such an ugly colour combination (red & green) anyway? Christmas tree-inspired much?

Anyhow, after much exposure to bad influences of all sorts and friends around me (just kidding), I got to know more about this particular brand and the range of products they sell. & I realise, hey.. Gucci bags and wallets don't actually always come in shades of brown, red and green! & I totally dig their winter collection.

These two bags are ❤:

Photobucket

- carry-on duffel with gucci cotton tag

Photobucket

- large messenger bag with gucci crest trademark

BUT BUDGET WISE... UGHHH!

I might be getting either one of these instead. It's like half the price of the above-mentioned.

Photobucket

- carry-on duffel with signature web loop

Photobucket

- large collapsible carry-on duffel (KNN! Price cheaper, the name also sound cheaper can?)

  • I've always liked shopping for friends' birthday presents because it gives me an excuse to shop as well.

  • Dimsum & waffle this saturday, yay!

  • My grandma gave me a BIG BIG angbao (200 dollars) when I visited her yesterday. Reason: I'm enlisting soon. Funny part, my brother isn't enlisting anytime soon, yet he gets angbao as well, lucky much?

  • After few months of consideration, I've made my decision in enrolling into SIM RMIT marketing (BA) course. Need your help CHIKKAMAN!!

  • Don't want to suffer financially over pocket money/allowances when I further study next time, so I've actually did some calculation & came up with a brilliant money-saving plan, so by end of NS, I'll have like 6k to 7k worth of savings. Should be enough for me to last 2 years. Plus, I'll also get a part time job to satisfy my other shopping needs. Omg I rock or what?

  • Hmph... Also, if my budget allows, I'll reward myself with a new school bag when I ORD. Probably a Gucci duffle or no less.

Ok bye! I'm going off to work. Earn more money for my future. HAHA as if.

Bitch man! Why aren't they sending the letter yet? I want to go in already! I can't wait liao!! Everytime I see guys' personal messages on msn or facebook that goes, "OHHH 12 weeks to ORD!!" or "YAYY!!! 3 weeks to ORD!"... It makes me so envious. Like as if time really flies inside and they're gonna start life brand new and afresh again. wow... so interesting!

& here I'm, still waiting to go in, unsure of my fate, destiny or whatever bullshit.

GIVE ME MY FUCKING LETTER ALREADY!!! :(

---

UPDATEE!

P/S: The magical genie must had given me three wishes! THREE WISHES! WHAT WOULD THEY BE? THREE WISHES.. * dance and sing Hi-5 song along with me, c'mon everybody!*

ONE, TWO, THREE WISHES!

Okay I know the song very nice, but shut up & pause the video first.

Just when I mentioned the fucking ns letter, it really came! LOL.

I bet genie gave me three wishes. I'd better think of the other two fast, before he decides to head back to his magical lamp!

Anyway, I'll be enlisting on 11th OF DECEMBER 2009.

YAYY!! 2 years & one month plus to ORD! So happy!

Accompanied Gris to get her hair extension done at far east plaza. Actually, accompanying her was just an excuse!! hahahaha I needed a shopping partner too & just nice she was intending to head towards town.

Had the most authentic, delicious and filling charsiew ramen ever!! Their soup is double boiled for long hours!! you definitely don't get that elsewhere. Her treat! So nice of her!

  • I've been promoted again, this time to a crew leader. yes! pay rate increase!! $6/hr. ahahahahaha I must be damn capable or something to be able to promote twice within two months. Just kidding!

  • Went for my haircut at suntec which costed me $38, bought a revlon diy hair colour kit $12 (so budget sia!!) and some men's grooming product from whathewants, Cathay. $100 plus gone just like that. -_- Was intending to get a blemish corrector or concealer but the salesgirl recommended me the popular & famous BB cream (or otherwise known as blemish balm cream) from Korea instead. It acts as a moisturizer, sun block & blemish concealer. By the way, It doesn't come cheap at all, $60 for 50ml!! Hope it works.

  • Celebrated Mingen's 19th birthday last wednesday, went to the F1 race track. Lots of tiko pehz looking at the girls while they were busy camwhoring and posing like those slutty-looking F1 girls on TV. LOL! can camwhore until so high they didn't even realise so many men were oogling at them.

  • Invited and went to Nana's hari raya open house last sunday. First time experiencing hari raya and using our hands to consume our food. It's double the difficulty for me as I'm not allowed to use the left hand to eat. In case you don't know, I can't even frigging hold a spoon with my right hand to eat! But all in all, it was very fun.

  • I almost turned homosexual when a friendly looking foreign student approached me and asked for direction to MDIS today. I was practically lost in his eyes & I thought, shit goddamn mother fucker! how come I'm looking at a guy in such a sexual light? Only very, very hot & pretty girls can make me go wow.... like this. I think my sexual orientation just gone haywire! hahaha!

  • I'm seriously getting pissed off, how does the taiwan online spree thing works? I wanna purchase things there, but I don't know how to and the instructions are all in freaking traditional chinese characters and Iike two pages long I really can't be bothered to read leh. Sian!! I should start to learn how to do online shopping, it should be way more cheaper. Topman & River Island is driving me broke.

  • My long lost primary school friend is being recruited and is starting work at essential brew this friday. Quite looking forward to working with him.

Tried their seppia nero (squid ink pasta). My mom is right, I'm really a rubbish bin, everything also eat.

BUT! Trust me, it's worth a try. Squid ink tastes like sea salt, just less salty, very nice!

After that, went shopping at Topman, Ion. Got a pair of stripey skinnies for $87 (U.P $103) because there was 15% off on Hari Raya. ZHUAN DAO! Not malay also got 15% off, hahahaha!

P/S: Oh ya, I deleted the last entry because the videos weren't working for some reason & I see no point in putting them up anymore, so I removed the entire entry. & yup kaman, I'm doing very well haha, haven't enlist yet, but should be soon liao lor, siaaan! & meet up soon leh!

Happy 20th Birthday, Sharon!

Celebrated her birthday at Indochine Waterfront. Lots of catching up with everyone, it was a wonderful weekend get together.

Photobucket

hahahahaha, everyone so well-dressed except me. That's probably one of those lazy days I can't seem to dress up properly. Hey but don't blame me! I was working the night before and was superrr tiredd the next day. No time to style hair, so wore cap, not because I'm a mass comm student wanna-be ok? hahaha..

Photobucket
Super tired looking newspaper boy.

Photobucket
The 'mass comm student' style. Cap with business/office attire.

Photobucket
The 'american skatergirl' style.

Photobucket
The 'preppy school rocker' style.

Photobucket
The '千金小姐' style. Don't you think Pat looks like she drives a BMW and owns like a whole stretch of bungalows at Bukit Timah here?

Everyone's playing with my newsboy cap. -_-

Oh btw, just to let you know huh, it's from Zara. Like duh of course, you expect nothing from me but branded stuff. haha just kidding.

Went Orchard Ion today. O.M.G this shopping centre has to be the best. Forget about crappy Iluma and lame orchard central (they practically sell junks there), Ion is a paradise to me, has all my favourite shops in it.

So this time, I actually splurged a little. Sorry can't resist man!!

Photobucket
Two tees from River Island. $70 (student discounted price), actual price $80.

Photobucket
A pair of white loafers from Pedro. $93.

Urm... my god I think that's my hundredth pair of footwear. zxsdf! Can't be helped, I have a soft spot for handsome-looking shoes.

Sze Hong's 21st Birthday Celebration

"Huh? Why you all come dressed in black/grey? I thought dress theme is green? Omg I'm gonna kill you Gris!!"

& so I'm tasked with buying the cake, headed down to Taka's Bakerzin to get it before meeting them at Wheelock's NYDC.

It always feel good to pamper yourself once in a while.

Photobucket

Lunch at Breko, after a tiring morning shopping at Bugis.

After which, I headed towards Suntec for a haircut, my couzy was kind enough to help me book an appointment with the creative director there & since she knows him personally, I've got special discount!! heheheheheh..

All in all, it was $38 for a cut & wash which I'm extremely satisfied with. He managed to keep my front and back hair volume (which I told him to) while having them trimmed nice & neat. Especially the bangs, Most hairdressers always make the EXACT same mistake of over-thinning (or whatever you call it) the fringe/bang, resulting in unsightly and loose openings at the front. I hate it, make me look like some secondary school kid.

Next, I went to Vivo to shop. (HEH HEH HEH, don't anyhow jump to conclusion, I didn't buy anything)

But I did tried on a few pieces of clothing and kind of liked them.

Photobucket

Photobucket

An autumn/winter coat inspired cardigan by River Island.

Like the fact that it looks as if it is meant to be worn during cold weathers but the fabric used is very soft and thin & it is not as long as those winter coats (so not to worry, it is suitable to wear it in Singapore)! Buttons are also creatively shaped like wolf claws.

Photobucket

Skeleton with a crown on its head!! Reminds me of Barragan from Bleach.

YEAYY!! MY POLY LIFE IS OVER!

Screwed up my last paper, but who cares, I did my best. oh yea & all these crap thanks to fucking SBS lousy service 74 who caused me to arrive more than half an hour late for my paper.

Off peak hours nobody take yet arrive every 3 minutes, peak hours 30 minutes then come one bus, & the bus terminal is like what? a bus stop away only? Traffic jam, too many passengers? All bullshit! I'm starting to loathe the idea of waiting so long under the hot bloody sun just to take a stupid bus. I wonder who they hired to plan the bus interval schedules anyway? Might as well sack them and tell them to go home wrap diapers.

& not forgetting to mention about bus service 61, trying to act like a legendary pokemon huh? Song song then appear one time, not happy you wait forever also won't come. KNN de.

Seriously, you know what public transport services in Singapore remind me of? Snails. Slow, inefficient and sluggish, ai mai ai mai like that. Even tortoise crawl also faster. Always taking their own sweet time.

The past few days saw myself mugging for exams, as well as working part time 3 days in a row (gonna work today and tomorrow as well)! $.$ Sense of satisfaction gained, knowing that I've been earning more than I'm spending. HEH!

I mean some of you who are not so close to me (actually, most people who knows about and read my blog are closer friends) may not know that I had been a terrible spendthrift. :( Shan't list out everything as it might just scare the wits out of you. But of course, I didn't regret splurging. In fact, statistics have shown that those who resist splurging regret more later. HA! Bet you never heard of that before but it's really true. I totally didn't make that up and I'm not consoling myself at all please.

Anyway, I have decided on my after exam activities and I can't wait!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! ANOTHER BUNCH OF SNEAKY PEOPLEEE.

OH MY GOD!! I absolutely didn't expect anything like that. Thank you so much Gris, Sun for planning such a wonderful birthday surprise for me, and the people who turned up.. I'm still shocked at the number, by the way.

There were some minor loopholes they pointed out but I guess I was either too stupid or slow (as usual) to realise. hhahahahaha!!

Nonetheless, here are the photos we took at Fish & Co.! They're all on facebook though.
